RYAN'S GREEN THUMB ~ 2017
A re-illustration of a series of hand drawings that gave wind to a journey of minimalistic stippling styles, these were originally conceived during one of my summers spent selling my soul to the man in Edmonton.
As I refined my techniques I decided to re-visit these older drawing with a face-lift.
I used what as at hand literally, and my loveliest of mates who was residing with me offered his to suit. Bonsai's give a sweet element of minimalism with heaps of detail and was the driving influence for the tree.
My iteration of the concept of a green thumb, using what would be a jungle scene, where I wanted to incapsulate movement and the vibe of a living piece.
